Training Options

Skills

  • Basic skills for any age will focus on skills of sit, down, look, touch, leave it, drop it and stays in addition to working on leash walking and socialization skills

  • STAR Puppy (8 weeks - 6 months): will focus on skills of sit, down, look, touch, leave it, drop it and stays in addition to working on leash walking and socialization skills

  • Advanced Skills: will focus on progressing the skills from level 1 and adding in the skills of place and heel.

  • classes meet once a week for 5 weeks

Community Canine

Canine Good Citizen (CGC): will teach all the skills necessary to be ready to take the AKC CGC test including nice greetings, leash walking, walking past distractions, stays, recalls and much more!

Canine Good Citizen Urban (CGC) and Canine Good Citizen Advanced(CGCA) are designed for dogs who have taken the CGC class and wish to continue to progress their community skills.

These classes meet once a week for 4 weeks

Sports Dog

This track includes a variety of dog sports (flyball, agility, rally, scent work ect) and trick dog skills. 4 week classes and drop in options

Private Session

1:1 session working on your specific concerns and creating an individualized plan to meet your goals. These sessions can be in person, virtual or in home depending on your needs

Run, don't walk to get your spot in class

Pawsitive Reports

It has been almost a year since Gunnar graduated from your Level 1 class but we've been using so many of the commands with Gunnar since class and they're just second nature to him! He's been so good up here on a leash walking with us and there are A LOT of other dogs around and he's staying right with us. We're surrounded by some great dog parents who always have their dogs leashed and with them at all times. It's great to see!

 

Thank you so much for offering the classes you do! Even though Gunnar was just a little pup when we took that class last summer, he learned things and they've made us better dog parents and Gunnar a better-mannered dog!"
